NRA "BASICS OF PISTOL SHOOTING" CLASS

The Office of the Sheriff will be holding in person NRA "Basics of Pistol Shooting" class. This is an 8-hour NRA course that will cover the following topics:
- Pistol Mechanisms & Operation
- Ammunition Fundamentals
- Building Pistol Shooting Skills
- Pistol Maintenance, Selection and Use
- Live Fire Instruction & Exercises
This course meets and exceeds the training requirement needed to obtain a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit. 
The cost for this class is $65; cash or check only and is due on the day of the class. You must submit the attached application to be considered for admittance into the class. *see the comments section for application attachment*
Due to COVID restrictions, class sizes are limited to 8 people. COVID protocols will be followed and masks are required while in the building.
Date/s/ will be determined once we are able to see how much demand is requested for classes.
