Today marks the completion of the new $1.4 million facility. The building is brightly lit with plenty of natural lighting and has an easy to navigate floor plan. At 6,000 sq ft the new facility is more than three times the size of the previous shelter which was built in the early 1970’s.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by the Franklin County Board of Supervisors, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Public Safety, Angels of Assisi, Franklin County Humane Society, and more. Also pictured are all animals currently available for adoption!
