Saturday, November 11th is Veteran's Day in our nation. Franklin County Sheriff Bill Overton stated, "We honor all of our service men and women who have protected us and our freedoms both at home and abroad. Whereas Memorial Day is a moment to reflect on those that gave their lives for our country, Veteran's Day gives us the wonderful pleaesure to shake the hand of a service veteran who is still with us, and who we can express our deepest gratitude. To all veterans and especially those in Franklin County, I salute you."
DATE IS NOVEMBER 28th (earlier misprint had it as the 18th).................November 28th is the correct date.
