NRA Basic Pistol Training Course is being offered by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office on March 17, 2018. Cost of class is $50 per person and is due DAY OF CLASS. Cost includes instruction, materials, range qualifications and certificate of completion. Each participant will receive a hardback copy of NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting to take home with them. CRASE (Citizen's Response to Active Shooter Events) The class will be held at the Franklin Center, 50 Claiborne Avenue in Rocky Mount and Sheriff Overton is making it FREE to all who pre-register. Sheriff Bill Overton and his Command Staff were in Manassas, VA last week for a review of the Virginia Law Enforcement Professional Standards Commission’s reaccreditation process.
